Romans 5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Our faith in Christ Jesus gives us the peace of mind to live in an evil world. God showed us grace = favor by giving us The Way.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Troubles in this life won't bring Christians down, they just make us stronger, they make us who we are. Tribulations helps us grow into something bigger than ourselves.
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
God has given us the confidence to overcome it all. We know He's with us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
When we want to give up, seeing things are just too bad, we will turn to Christ Jesus and His forgiving way. We are made new through His sacrifice.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
We would die to protect a loved one and few would do that for a stranger on the streets, but Christ gave Himself for everyone.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Christ didn't just die for His genetic family and His friends, but EVERY soul that enters this flesh age.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Repentance in His name shows you believe in His sacrifice, His blood washing you clean.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
If you refuse Christ, you refuse God and will have everything you ask for come on you when He arrives. As a parent, if a child refuses the sacrifices a real parent gives them, it hurts us. Think about giving your life so that your children could live, but they refuse that life you gave. They turn their backs on you and run into the arms of another - satan. Accept Christ and live†
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
His blood is the atonement = covering, that covers our sins. Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Our Father covers our sins by repentance in Christ Jesus name. Once covered it's out of sight and can't be brought up again nor should you worry about them anymore. They're blotted out with the blood of Christ.
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
All it took was one human to fall into the temptations of satan and we all fell. Death = satan, it's one of his many names, but God Always gives us a way out of the traps of death. Though we all fall short, we are ALL given Christ Jesus ....IF we want Him.
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
"Imputed" = a violation against a law, but if there isn't a law for the action, a violation hasn't accured.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Sin reigned in ignorance from the first man until Moses was given The Law by God and stood as the only measure until Christ Jesus = The second "Adam" = manhad came. Christ fulfilled the law by being the last sacrifice for all time. The blood ordinance is no more. Through Christ our transgressions can be forgiven. It's only in belief, you can be forgiven†
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Just as sin was started by one, forgiveness is given by The One.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
The first law was in fact to not go to that "tree of knowledge of good and evil" = satan. Ref. Genesis 2:9-17 yet they sinned by doing so. The "free gift" is repentance in Christ Jesus our sins are forgiven by His Blood †
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Sin was started by one action against God and it exploded into what we have in this world today, but our Father shows us grace = favor by giving freely of Himself that we may have life through His Son and His sacrifice.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Were made right by Christ Jesus †
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Light always overcomes darkness. Light a match in a large dark room, that little flame overtakes all the darkness. Christ came that we have our Fathers favor, His Light gives peace of mind in a dark world.
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
satan is the death people [chose] to follow, but God made a Way for us that refuse to follow evil. We are made right through Christ and have reward for doing so, eternal life. Sorry, I just can't feel sorry for those that have heard yet refuse the love offered to everyone. True love isn't forced or it wouldn't be true love. You must seek it and He's ALWAYS there waiting for you †
