Matthew 20

1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

This is an analogy where The kingdom of heaven is like a business and it needs laborers to do some work. Christians don't live for self, they live for Christ and others.

2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

They had "agreed" to the wage.

3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

It's 9am and there are laborers in the marketplace in need of work.

4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

He will take care of their pay at the end of the day.

5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

At noon and 3pm, he did as at 9am. Found laborers in the marketplace in need of work and will take care of their pay at the end of the day.

6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

The master is telling them that even starting work at 5pm, at the end of the work day they will be paid a fair wage.

8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

5 o'clock workers are paid first, then the others according to time hired. Those that were hired first where chosen for a reason. The elect of God, and they will stand against evil until the very end. They stood against satan in the first age.

9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

This is a full days wage and spiritually, we all get paid accordingly for what we do or don't do in the end.

10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

Remember the last ones to go to work are the first to be paid and they want to be paid as those that have worked all day. We will get what we deserve and are here today because of what we have done before. Those that stood against satan in the first earth age = the "world that was" and we need to understand "first from last" and the analogy. Those that worked last, were chosen first, have earned more than the others. They have earned it from the "overthrow" = satans rebelling against God, taking 1/3 with him. The analogy; good Master met these workers at dawn, early morning seeing they needed work and money they had agreed a wage that was set at a penny for that day and now after the day's over, these workers are complaining, because they don't understand the meaning of the first is last and the last is first.

11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

Poor things! On a fleshly level, some don't realize something is better than nothing. No matter how hard the work, be grateful you have it!

12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

Let's look at this spiritually. Someone that has been a good Christian most of their life compared to someone that just became a Christian and the 7th trump sounded. We are all given life eternally are we not? Are we not equal in the sight of God in the end? It's up to God to give and up to us to accept.

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

This master is telling them to beat it and he will pay everyone whatever he decides to pay them.

15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

Many refuse what has been given to them and want to twist it into a lie. Christ has given us all an opportunity for life, many would rather have life without Christ. The blessings of others have nothing to do with yourself. Just open your eyes to The True blessing that is Christ.

16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

The "chosen" = "Zadok" = The Elect . They were chosen first because they earned it in the first age.

17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,

18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death,

He is preparing them for what is about to happen and letting them know the purpose of His coming was to die.

19 And shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him: and the third day He shall rise again.

This will be the fulfillment of the the promise of God from the Garden of Eden where He stated the first prophecy of The Bible. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.   God "put enmity" = division, separating satans blood line from that of which Christ would come though. Cain and Able where twins, but not of the same dad. Twins are defined as two babies that simultaneously develop in a mother's womb in a single pregnancy. There are generally two types of twins: fraternal and identical. Identical twins are sometimes called "paternal". Learn the meanings of "seed" and "fruit" to unlock what happened in the beginning. 20 Then came to Him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping Him, and desiring a certain thing of Him.

21 And He said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto Him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on Thy right hand, and the other on the left, in Thy kingdom.

22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto Him, We are able.

James, John and their mother have no idea of what they were even asking of Jesus.

23 And He saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on My right hand, and on My left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of My Father.

The God head will decide where everyone ends up at the end of this age and the millennium.

24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

Jealousy and pride are getting in the way, even as they approach Christ death. Self is always getting in the way. This is why we must instead be focused on The Way

25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

Their mind set is as those that hold their power over others.

26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

There isn't going to be anyone over you but God.

27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

The bigger and better we think we are in this flesh age, the lower we will be in His kingdom.

28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.

The One above all, came to serve and give of Himself. He didn't come to gain for Himself, but for those that die of self.  1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.

30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Thou Son of David.

31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Thou Son of David.

We are all blind until we open our minds to Christ. Only in Him, can we be given sight. There is a war going on today and only those with true sight know what's going on. Only those within Christ are prepared for this battle and only those in Christ will overcome.  Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

You know good and well Christ knew what they wanted, but it's up to us to ask it of Him. We must be the ones to open that door and invite Him in.

33 They say unto Him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

They hunger and are ready for a change.

34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

When we are ready, He is there! Let me tell you, when you seek His Truth, your eyes will be open to things you had never knew existed, good and bad. You will see just how twisted things have become and how those that follow everything but The Truth really are. You will see how much love our Father is giving and the blessings in your life. The Light will shine bright
