Hebrews 3

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

When we repent in His name we then become partakers with Him.

2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

Moses house was his family. Make sure you feed you family what they need and see it be blessed. Christ, The bread of Life.

3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

God built us protection from evil and death. Christ is where we live, that is more worthy than anyone that has lived of this flesh.

4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

Without what God has made, nothing would be.

5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

Moses was just part of what would bring us up to today. Through many God has chosen would bring us His Truth. What's in your house? A Bible that is open or the world as you want to see it.

6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Christ Jesus our foundation we build from can build such a house nothing can tare it down. NOTHING!

7 Wherefore (as the Holy Spirit saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

ARE YOU LISTENING?

8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When the Israel rejected God after leaving the Egypt, while in the wilderness. Keep The Faith!!! Stay Strong!!!

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

FORTY = Trials, Probation and Testing

10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

The generation of the first 40 years after captivity turned their backs on God. Sad thing is, they witnessed the freedom God had given them.

11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

Two out of that generation of unbelievers where blessed to see the promise land. They held to The Truth.

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

"exhort" - kaleo 2564; to call near, i.e. invite, invoke.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

ATTENTION! ------"IF" = A Condition

15 While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

No question everyone hears His voice. The only difference is some go to Him and some run away. There are even some today that claim to follow Him yet are running as fast as those that refuse Him all together.

16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

How everyone didn't accept what they had seen as Gods Works and continue in The faith is beyond me. Then again, look at people of today.

17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

Rejecting your Father makes Him sad. He isn't going to force anyone to love Him. He will let you fall if that's what you want.

18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

You will not gain peace of mind = rest, when you leave God out of your life. You'll NEVER find it and they didn't in the wilderness either.

19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

That would be the promise land. Many won't enter heaven because of the same thing. Heaven is such because no evil is needed. POOF, Gone!
