Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue.
True Love is a force that real Christians have for each another and for those throughout the world. Our love is expressed through our words and actions. Our love is based on the love we are shown by our Father. A Christian is Christ like and no greater love was shown than that of Christ for us. John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
There's a time coming when evil angels will be cast to earth again. They were here in Gen.6 and they will be again when satan is cast back to earth on that 6th trump. Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 1 Cor. 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. It's bit deep, but I wish you to read all this anyway. Study it to come to a better conclusion. Without studying it, you lack a way to determine a definitive conclusion. We see in this verse it speaks to us of the last generation. Women should have Christ over them because if not, they will do just as the women before Noe's time. The purpose of the flood was to destroy those hybrids the angels made when they took to them wives of the daughters of men. Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. The day fast approaches when these angels are cast down to earth and this verse 1 Cor. 11:10 applies to us all. Without Christ over you, you will fall into their deceptive traps.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
We must help and support our brothers and sisters in Christ that are being persecuted, locked up and murdered. When they come against you, know that we are with you in prayer and Christ is with you in Spirit, Word and power.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Spiritually speaking, we are married to Christ, He is our bridegroom and we are to stay virgins to Him, but those that go whoring after satan, God will judge and they're not going to like the outcome at all.
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
See your blessings for what they are. It's a gift from God and for you to enjoy. Be wise with His gifts and show your love to Him by being humble in this wonderful life He has given you to enjoy. He will be with you and supply your every need.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
If you have a Pastor that is teaching Chapter by Chapter and verse for verse then you more than likely have a good Pastor. Listen to them very carefully if their advice comes from The Word. You don't want someone that's wishy washy. Check everyone out in The Word. Think on what they have given you if they follow God.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
Traditions and twisted doctrines will take you down spiritually just as bad as eating bad foods does physically. I thank God He has given us unmerited favor through Christ Jesus that we may be forgiven.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
That altar is the cross Christ was crucified on, not a building made of stones.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
Before Christ, the offerings were killed before they were brought into the temples. Christ sacrifice was outside the city on a hill at Golgotha.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
You don't need a building or someone to go before God for you. Christ gave Himself, that we may receive. When He died on that cross and that veil torn open, He was opened to each of us. Matthew 27:50-51 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
There's alot of chaos in the world today, but we who follow Christ and The Truth have a peace of mind that only He can bring. The day is fast approaching everyone, where He will be here and He's bringing His Kingdom with Him; 7th Trump! Rev. 22:12-14 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Nothing is required of you in sacrifice, so let us Praise God in ALL HE GIVES YOU in Christ Jesus Yahsha's name. Prayer is talking with The Father. He want's to hear from you so thank Him, tell Him that you love Him.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Keep what you have been given by The Word in Truth. Don't forget it! Spread it to everyone you know and meet.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Some love to use this scripture to tell you to follow anyone in authority. That is very wrong. If they don't follow God, they're following satan. Do you really believe God would have you follow someone like that? Use common sense. We are held accountable for what we do, so give of yourself when required. If we all do our part in Christ, the body will always get the job done.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Paul is asking for prayers, that he may be restored.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
A promise has been made. It's life through Christ Jesus. Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised
again for our justification. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; Shedding his blood, Christ our Savior gave us The Way to life everlasting.
That is "The everlasting covenant". We are given peace of mind in His
Truth.
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Only in Christ, can you have the mind set to do what is right in the sight of God. Only in Christ, can your work be made perfect. If your mindset isn't in Christ, then your work will be of self, not of pleasing God.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
The reason Paul wrote this was for us to discuss it together and to spread it to encourage others. "Exhortation" = παράκλησις paráklēsis, par-ak'-lay-sis; from G3870; imploration, hortation, solace:—comfort, consolation, exhortation, intreaty, comfort, solace; that which affords comfort or refreshment, encouragement.
23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
Timothy has been released. If Timothy joins them before Paul gets there, he will be there with them in spirit.
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
Through repentance is that unmerited favor or grace. We don't deserve it, but our Father loves so that much He sent us The Way. †
