Revelation 1
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Jesus tells John to write things that are for you alive today. These things are about today! The end of this age.
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
There will be much more than what he sees and hears. Written for us of today, Here and Now.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Your blessed by His Words because when you know what's coming, you're ready for it.
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
"7 churches" of Asia are in a circle geographically symbolizing the churches of the earth today. Christ Jesus is all the spirits.
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
"Washed us" with what? That's right! His blood is what saves us that follow and believe He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Don't believe the junk being told to you that "you must be baptized by water to be saved". Repent and believe! Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Christians that's you. Some are of the ethnos and some the elect. We follow God our Father and His glory.
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
These "clouds" are the saints. So many it looks as a "cloud". Those that "pierced him" are those fake Jews the kenites. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds = [ saints, those Christ brings with Him], to meet the Lord in the air, =[new body] and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
In this we can see what was, is and is about to come. Three world ages and God The Father is of them ALL. Ref. 2 Peter 3:4-7 4 And
saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens
were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:( = 1st
world age, not Noe time or that flood! This is the overthrow or the time satan
decided to go against God. Katabolee which is a combination of a prefix meaning
down and bolee which is cast as used in Luke 22:41. This bolee comes from the
word ballo which is usually translated cast, but also thrust and throw. This
overthrow is first mentioned in Genesis 1:2. The result was waste and emptiness
hence the words "without form and void" translated from tohu va bohu. That the overthrow is the result of judgment seen in the other references to tohu
va bohu in Jeremiah 4:23 and in Isaiah 34:11) 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in
store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly
men.
9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
John is on the island called "Patino" in the Aegean Sea. He is seeing the things to come during the tribulation about to happen.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
"The Lord's day" starts at that 7th trump also known as The trump of God. John is seeing what's coming. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: People love to use this chapter for their "rapture" story, but we see this day isn't until the 7th trump. We can know beyond any doubt Christ coming is after the 6th trump = satan here claiming to be Christ, but is in fact the anti-christ. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Jesus telling John to write what you see on this day, The Lord's day = 7 th trump, about these 7 churches or types of churches.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Something very important here many so-called churches never see today. Hold on, we will get there.
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
This is Christ Jesus The Son of man in the midst of the 7 candlesticks = churches. Remember what the candlesticks are for later.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Purity!
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
When Christ speaks it sounds like many at one time. Waters = peoples, so it sounded like a Multiplied echo if you will.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
These 7 = spiritual completeness, stars are Angels. Christ Jesus and His Words cut both ways. To correct and love. To me they are both the same. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
When you are with Christ, there is no reason to have fear. He gives us the only peace anyone can have.
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Christ Jesus is The key to life. Accept Him as your savior and enjoy life now and forever. Or you could choose the world, the way to death. Upon judgment some will have the door shut and thought of no more. Heaven is called such because there is no evil in it.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
John is going to do what The Lord asks of Him. Write down what he has seen, what he sees and the things that he sees are coming to us today.
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Many believers in "rapture" say after chapter 4 the church isn't mentioned in God's Word. They ignore this verse and its meaning. I can only guess they haven't read chapter 11. We will get there very soon and I will remind everyone of what they missed. Or you could read it for yourselves now. Eyes to see and ears to hear.
