James 5

1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

This isn't talking to you of good works. Its to those who rob others for their own gain.

2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

When you use ill-gotten gains for your life, it is as rags. You have no real worth. You will not be blessed! You can't find happiness while living in evil.

3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

This is for those that have laid up treasures as their god. They can't help others because they are busy helping themselves.

4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

God sees the cry's of those being used for others gain. They aren't payed enough to live by these evil doers. He takes care of it!

5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

The riches of the worldly = flesh, will do nothing for your soul. Gathering them doesn't bring pleasure or salvation.

6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

That Just One was Christ Jesus. They killed Him and He didn't complain. He knew what He had to do and why. Evil people are doing it today! After all He has done for us, why would you turn your back on Him. Are you that heartless that you can't stay in His Word and ways He has given. Do you think your above Him? You're breaking His heart!

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

"Patients" It's hard but after that "latter rain" the harvest is ready. Waiting on that "rapture" your already withered and are of no use for harvest. "Rapture" believers have already been taken and are waiting on the wrong Lord. What's in your mind and actions are the marks of the evil one known as "The mark of the beast". Study! Read 2 Thess. Ch. 2 and write down the events as they are written. God has warned us about this false doctrine. Ezekiel 13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Be patient while waiting on our Lord. If you're in this flesh body, it's not The Real Christ. It's about to happen. Are you ready?  The Lord comes at the 7th trump, also known as the trump of God. NOT UNTIL THEN! If you believe other than this, you're not ready for Christ Jesus. Repent and get busy in His Word. If you can't see things are right for His coming very soon, you may be part of the problem. Repent and get busy in His Word.        1 Cor. 15:52-54  52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

As the harvest comes closer, things of the worldly start to become less important. Our Redeemer is at the door and about to come in.

10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

We are going to go through the tribulation so be patient. Stay strong in The Lord and His Truth. Don't let the lies of others take you.

11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Being patient is showing your love, trust and faith for God. He is coming and you have wisdom to know who, what, and where.

12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

Don't tell God or anyone you're going to do something and make up excuses not to. You're not going to fool God. Sometimes things happen that changes what you have felt in your heart to do. That's different! Circumstances change and you're not obligated, but if you can see, you stand by your word.

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

"IN THE NAME OF THE LORD"!

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If you have repented, you're on your way. You are found in righteousness. Now follow Gods Word to stay there.

17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Elijah was no different than you or I. God hears our every thought. All we have to do is talk to Him and if He sees fit, it WILL be done.

18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Elijah knew God would provide. As a Christian, you to should have and show that kind of FAITH.

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

You must judge the sin and have the salt to tell them of it in order to convert them. I don't want to hear any of you say, "we aren't to judge", you say that in ignorance of The Truth. Study Matthew 7, ALL OF IT, not just the first verse.

20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Are just claiming to being a "Christian" or are you helping others come out from the lies and evil of the world.
