Luke 12
1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
These Pharisees see the crowd gathering and will try to sway them in their play acting.
2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
The Truth is always there!
3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Once you accept Christ and study His Word, your eyes are opening and nothing can be hid from you. You understand what's coming and why.
4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
Christ lets His disciples know that the flesh is all they = the enemy's can take.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Our Father is The Only One that can cast your soul into hell.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
In commerce, sparrows were the least valuable and worth about 1/8 of a penny. Their value isn't seen like that by God. They're but one of His many creations for His pleasure and purpose.
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
God will is going to be done regardless, so He won't have us worry about this flesh life, but love Him enough to seek Him and live forever with Him.
8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
Cause and effect, reject Christ and He isn't going to let you slide when you had your whole life to accept Him, NO Excuses!
9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
Christian? Or do you just stay silent when God places you in the path of someone that needs to hear what you are? Reward or punishment?
10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.
If you repent, you can be forgiven, UNLESS you commit the ONLY unforgivable sin. This is for the elect of God, when facing satan here on earth where they are to allow God to speak through them. They will speak a tongue in which every language. will understand what is being said in the dialect in which they were born.
11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 For the Holy Spirit shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
At that instance!
13 And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
He wants Christ to interfere with their family matters.
14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
Christ didn't come to earth to divide the spoils of humans.
15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
We weren't given this life to see how much junk we could collect before we die. The whole purpose of this flesh age is choice. Christ Jesus or satan and the world.
16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
This farmer was blessed beyond his ability to store his blessing.
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
The first man sought guidance with a matter of law, yet Christ came to fulfill the law and this second man is leaving out Gods guidance after being blessed by Him.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
This guy now feels he can take it easy with his stockpile in storage, he can hoard it and forget about God and others in need.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
He is called to heaven, leaving his earthly treasures behind to those that will go through the courts, dividing all amongst themselves.
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Christians understand full well, our reward isn't here in the amount of things we collect, but in heaven with our Father.
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
FAITH
23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
God WILL see to ALL our needs, we just need to see Him in our lives, NOT self as the blessing. He provides The Way †
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
"taking thought" is worrying about something. Not at any time will you gain everything out of it.
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
If you have done your best, God will see to the rest. Be at peace in your daily walk with Christ. FAITH!
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Our LORD provides for the littlest things, why would you not believe He will provide for you. It's not what we want, but what He gives we must open our eyes to. Solomon in all [his] glory wasn't as beautiful as the lilies.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Worry = lack of Faith. Can't you see all around you our Father takes care of nature, WHY would you not BELIEVE He will do the same for you. FAITH!
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
A "doubtful mind" shows lack of faith. It creates worry and will separate you from God. Can't you see what He has given us?
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
satan is fooling most of the world today with worry about fleshly things. The world is on fire and yet people run from God more and more each day. There is a huge lack of Truth in the churches and because of that, people lack faith.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Let those that chase after the world go. You focus of God and The Truth EVERYDAY and see blessings flow in His timing. May they see The Light in you and change before its to late.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Christians have NOTHING to worry about. Victory is already yours, the battle has already been won through His blood. Hebrews 2:14-15 14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
If you're worrying about the junk you've collected over the years, its time to sell it or give it away. You've lost focus on what's important.
34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
When it came time for work or battle, they would "gird their loins" = reach back under their legs, grab the bottom and pull it up through their legs tucking it in their belts. Ready with The Truth!
36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
We have a weddings and then celebrate with food, but we are to prepare for this wedding with the food = The Word and then the wedding comes.
37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Some are watching for a ride out of here and some are not looking for The Lord at all. Both are in trouble! Get The Truth in you now, ready for battle before the wedding.
38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
Keeping an eye out for the enemy to protect your house.
39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
The Truth prepares us for the fake christ at the 6th trump which comes first, before The True Christ which we are to wait for that comes at the 7th trump.
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
Not only do we watch for the fake, but be get ready for Christ Jesus The True after that fake.
41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
We are given everything we need to prepare. It's up to us to accept what is given.
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
If you weren't fooled by the fake christ, then this is speaking about you. You prepare your house with The Truth. You didn't let the ride out of here fly in your house. You taught them 2 Thess. 2 etc.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
The Word is Truth so follow it as its written, being blessed now and to come. You understand satan comes first and you wait on the true Christ. You're not tempted while satans here. You understand what the armour is for. Eph. 6:10-11 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
We are so close, RIGHT NOW! Not many things remain before The Lords return. Stay in His Word EVERYDAY, be ready EVERYDAY!
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
These that knew The Word but refused Him have no reward coming.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
What God has given you isn't yours to keep. He gave it so you could give it. We will be judged fairly by our Father. Each according to THEIR own life.
49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Christ came to warm our hearts and sets us on fire to spread The Truth. This same fire burns anger in those that refuse The Truth. You know what I'm speaking of if you have ever given Truth of The Word to someone.
50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
His blood was that baptism to be baptized with and by it all was accomplished.
51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
If you see eye to eye with a non-believer, you aren't a true believer. Let me tell ya, there are many that call themselves Christians that could care less about The Truth. If you know me there is No sugar, just salt!
52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
The simplicity of The Word has been corrupted by humans own understanding and the re-writing of what The Truth is. Even when five are together in the same thing, the flesh gets in the way of The Truth.
53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
54 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.
Most have sense enough to know when they see a storm heading their way, they're pretty sure it will rain.
55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
You know when the wind blows up from the south it will bring warmer temps.
56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
You can see the weather coming and know whats going to happen. Yet God gave us signs to look for in the last generation and many close their eyes as to the TRUE meaning of them.
57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
They just close their eyes to the things of God.
58 When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
Don't go out trying to convert anyone when you see satan here fooling the world. Keep your head and stay calm.
59 I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.
The Lord will use us when He sees fits and in His timing. We must Continue to do the work He has laid out for us knowing when to speak or stay silent.
