Matthew 15

1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2 Why do Thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

Notice "tradition" something they attached to God. Many churches have done the same today with other traditions.

3 But He answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Many of the traditions then and today, are not of God, nor is their foundation in the Scripture for their doctrines.

4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

There are two parts to this and the death is to your soul, yet there is a reward to your flesh of a long life.  Exodus 20:12 Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. The other part of the law that Jesus is using comes from  Exodus 21:17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

These crooked priests say for the right price, they will declare something "corban", which means "of God". They would declare the money a gift, allowing the giver to use it for their own personal use.

6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

You've violated the commandment of God if you listen and follow these priests and elders in their traditions.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8 This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me.

Get shown, but little believe, faith and love for The TRUTH.

9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

They don't teach the commandments of God, but their own twisted doctrines.

10 And He called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

If you're going to claim to be a Christian and study His Word, make sure you have His Word and actions flowing from you.

12 Then came His disciples, and said unto Him, Knowest Thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Christ spoke The Truth and He lets the chips fall where they may. Don't worry about hurting someones feelings when you are speaking Truth. Evil is the one that came up with political correctness.

13 But He answered and said, Every plant, which My heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

There isn't going to be any lies or evil in the end. Only The Truth and good souls will have life forever. THAT will be HEAVEN!

14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

This is why when talking with a so called pastor and I find them ignorant of The Word or just a fraud all around, I leave them and theirs in their own demise. Don't waste your time with them.

15 Then answered Peter and said unto Him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

Peter is just not getting it. What we put in, we put out. We must stay strong in The Word and our faith, bringing forth the same.

17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

It's not that important what goes in your mouth, but what goes in your mind.

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

This is a lesson to their traditions and church playing. Reminds me of the bath to be saved, ignoring it's the blood of Christ that saves us that believe on Him.

21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto Him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Remember Matthew 8:29, these demons are the ones who identified Christ Jesus as the "Son of God", same here.

23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

They saw Christ didn't want anything to do with this woman. Ignore their games! We don't react to evil, we must stay focused on those that hunger for Truth.

24 But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Christ knew these kenites wanted to play games and that isn't why He came.

25 Then came she and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, help me.

This evil won't give up.

26 But He answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

The Bread is of course The Word and so many hunger for it. Judge righteously as to not waste your time on those looking for a fight.

27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

She is saying that even a dog has a right to the crumbs.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Her begging pays off. Her daughter is made whole.

29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

30 And great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and He healed them:

31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

32 Then Jesus called His disciples unto Him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with Me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

33 And His disciples say unto Him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

Christ is going to show everyone His power, yet His Word is The Power. His Word is The Bread that heals and feeds those who hunger.

34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

7 = Spiritual completeness.

35 And He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

36 And He took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to His disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

The bread of life, which is Christ body and The Word is given to us, and we are to feed the multitudes. His Word is life, without it we will die in darkness. We need it to survive in a dark world.

37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

As with His body it was broken, but His Word fills us that feed on it.

38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

4 = earth and all said, there were probably more than 10,000 people there at the time.

39 And He sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

What we learn is with The Lord feeding us His Word, we spread it ever growing in it, feeding the multitudes of the earth.
