1 John 5
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
You love the anointed One, you love God. After all, they are one in the same.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
Our actions show who we are and what we believe. Some will see them for what they are and some will see them as hate.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
God tells us to do things for our own good; what parent wouldn't want that for their child? If you love them, you listen and follow.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
When you repent and follow God, the world doesn't have its hold on you anymore. If your awake today, you know the worldly is following satan. Without Christ, you are of the world. That's every religion and thought other than Christ.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Do you see the condition that you must follow? Do you "believe" or not? Are you of the world or have you overcome it? This by no means you shouldn't fight the good fight against the evils of this world. It means the world has no real power over you. You have already beat it down. By Christ Jesus, we have already won!
6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
Christ came through the womb = born of water to give
His blood as our way to life everlasting. The Last sacrifice! Those that
take this as we must be baptized if we are to be Christian is missing a lot

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.
The Holy Trinity †
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
Just as in heaven, these same three that ARE ONE, bear witness right here on earth, The Holy Trinity †
9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
If you're going to believe any human you, should believe The Three Offices of God over them.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
If you can't take the time to study Gods Word and you say you don't believe in The Word, you show your lack of intelligence. It's a shame everywhere I go I hear people say, "open your mind" yet these same people won't take the time to do that with the most important thing in front of them, God's Word!
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
If you refuse Christ, there is NO life in you. When you accept Him you then are Born from Above. You then have "eternal life".
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
If you believe in Christ and all He has done for you, you're alive. If you reject Him, you're walking in darkness and you're dead.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Faith!
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
FAITH!
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Faith is knowing God will see to it the things in your life will be done according to His will. It's you just letting Him do it and enjoying the ride.
16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
Did you know there are sins of the soul and sins of the flesh. Our food laws are for our health. Blasphemy against The Holy Spirit will kill the soul. As for the elect of God, Luke 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. and Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
If you're in this flesh, you sin. Christ is our way out. The ONLY Way! Repent daily because, while in this flesh, you continue to sin EVERYDAY!
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
When you repent you are made new, born from above! Those that stay in The Word have power against that evil one and all his followers.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
If you follow Christ, you are of God. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE else is following satan. That's every religion and many that think they follow God are following a god, NOT The God.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Do you study Gods Word or read it? Do you know The Son of God or just breeze by what He has given? Do you in Him live today?
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
So many follow the things of the world. Some even believing they follow God are following other gods. How will you know if you don't read God's letter to you? "That is that"
