2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
CAUTION! This study might sting. Salt does that when there is an opening on the body. Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. The context of this study continues to be Christ return and our gathering to Him. Pay close ATTENTION. Paul is begging you listen to what he's saying.
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Don't be confused or troubled by that first letter, 1 Thess. 4, where people get their rapture doctrine from. Don't be troubled by that first letter about the return of Christ.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
CONDITION! Christ doesn't come so don't be [DECEIVED] by anyone, until "that man of sin" = satan, "that" = a particular subject, he's also known here as "the son of perdition" shows up and people fall for him. "Perdition" ἀπώλεια apṓleia, ap-o'-li-a; from a presumed derivative of G622; ruin or loss (physical, spiritual or eternal):—damnable(-nation), destruction, die, perdition, X perish, pernicious ways, waste. There has been one already sentenced to die, that's satan himself. He's "the son of perdition" and wherever he goes, he causes destruction to those who follow. We have been given warning to look for. The church has twisted it because of money or traditions. We must look for that abomination of desolation, = satan, then watch for our Lord. That evil one is an abomination everywhere he goes and make desolate where he stands. Matthew 24:14-16 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: "Abomination" = βδέλυγμα bdélygma, bdel'-oog-mah; from G948; a detestation, i.e. (specially) idolatry:—abomination. "Desolation" = ἐρήμωσις erḗmōsis, er-ay'-mo-sis; from G2049; despoliation:—desolation. a making desolate.
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
This should give you pause. It's yet more proof who this son of perdition is. "He" is singular as a Christian you should know who wants you to worship him over The True Christ. That would be the "anti-christ" = instead of Christ. The punk is sitting on the North side of mount Zion, fooling the world in "Showing himself that he is God" in which that is an "abomination". Why doesn't the church see this clearly? Because they don't teach The Word in Truth, as it is written. There's no money in it for them I guess. Don't ignore God's Word. Don't fall for human's lies, satans tricks. This is very simple to understand when you let go of the lies you've been told.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
This "the son of perdition" will be revealed at The Christ return = 7th TRUMP, The Trump of God. Everyone will see they followed the wrong christ. They believed the lies. Church, it's time to wake up, before you fall.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
The "mystery of lawlessness" = "the mystery of iniquity". Let look at "he who now letteth will let" this is God. God's in control of it all and has satan in chains right now, until Michael the one who "holds fast/strong, then the time comes when God allows a war in heaven and the keys [authority] given to satan, cast to earth for a time. Here he fools many and a lot of them were waiting for their "rapture." Revelation 12:7-9 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
This "wicked" is that wicked one, satan. The Truth of God is what comes from The Lords mouth. Those tricks will be destroyed because everyone will see them for what they were. People want to be taken before or during the tribulation; well, many already are. They're taken by the lies. Only The Sword, The Word can clear it up. Ephesians 6:13-17 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
All those dynasty's of satan will be destroyed upon The Lords return. They're his religious, economic, education and political systems = the beast system. There is a lot of deceptions in these areas already, wait until the punk's here. You haven't seen anything yet.
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
If you chose to ignore God's Word of Truth, you're the only one that must answer for that decision. It's so simple, yet people would rather have a great show in the church or a ride out of any troubles that come their way. It saddens me that people refuse The Truth about Christ return and the events that must come to pass first. Sadly, they've set themselves up to follow satan.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
You ignore The Truth, God isn't going to stop you and will help you in jumping in bed with satan. I won't waste time with those that ignore Gods Truth because God isn't going to waste His time. You want to believe in a "rapture" then following satan is what you want. Go ahead, I've done all I can for you and God did even more, but you refused.
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
They would rather believe a lie. They refuse the fact they'll be here during satans reign on earth. They believe in satans rapture doctrine and if you believe in rapture, you have pleasure in unrighteousness. But there are some that follow Gods Word, not a humans doctrine.
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
"obtaining" περιποίησις peripoíēsis, per-ee-poy'-ay-sis; from G4046; acquisition (the act or the thing); by extension, preservation:—obtain(-ing), peculiar, purchased, possession, saving. Truth stings those that would rather hear lies, but here it is anyway. The easiest way to know if a pastor is doing what God has asked of them is a simple question, do they teach Gods Word or humans? If yours teaches rapture, they are not Gods. They're not preservation The Truth, but have gone their own way. 2 Timothy 4:2-4 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
Evil tries to tear down The Truth of God by distorting or causing confusion but The Truth of God last forever. We've been given the events and warnings for a reason. What are you going to do with them? Proverbs 12:19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Our ONLY Way has been given through the blood of Christ. We've been shown favor, all we have to do is follow ALL that He has been given.
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
Please take to heart this study. It is with love for all the church, I don't want one person to be fooled when satan arrives. The punk is coming with even more lies than the ones he has already planted. Stay strong in The Word, in Truth and I know your reward is great. May God bless you in your studies †
