1 Peter 1

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

Peter - "Petros" = "rock". Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

First part is for those who see the first earth age, second part is why Christ came for us in this age. His favor gives us peace of mind.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Through Christ, The last sacrifice, we are made alive. A new life and The Way to everlasting salvation. For us, death is no more!

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Elect you are here right now! In this age of time for a reason. You know something others just wont accept. Reward is yours.

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

What are you kept by? Faith and The Word. You have "The Seal of God" which is the opposite of the "mark of the beast".

6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

You can feel it everywhere. Hold fast Elect! Stay in The Word and continue to be salt.

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Fight the good fight against the enemies of God. Don't let them bring you down to their believes. TRUE Christians know who they are.          Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

We Christians don't have to see God when we feel Him all around us. If your eyes are open, you can see the things of Him though.

9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Hold to that Faith in God until the end of this flesh and live forever in that new body your souls goes into. It is that simple!  1 Cor. 15:51-55            51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.  55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

You that are alive in Christ know the favor that has been shown and that Word that was spoken before it was given. The first prophecy given, He would come and die for us, Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

They were told of what Christ would endure.  Isaiah 53:1-12  1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.  10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.  12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

If you seek God, you seek His Word that was sent to us today. Our Father will see you understand, but you must do the work.

13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

When you "gird up the loins of your mind" you prepare for battle. Hold to The Truth and favor given you through The Word. Believe me! There is so much twisting going on today. God's Word in many cases has been thrown away and humans words put in its place. Education administrations have ran from the truth, political polices have gone the way of satan, sound economics are no more and religions are worshiping other gods. The new pope is a worker of satan, just as the prosperous, preachers have left all sound doctrine. Pope Francis said: "Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God.”  In a shocking speech that is reverberating across the world, Pope Francis declared that: “All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.” ( THIS IS EVIL and I see God isn't going to allow this to go on much longer. READY? "Gird up the loins of your mind".)

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

Not of the worldly but of The Word and spirit. Your new and ready as a Christian.

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

When you're holy, you speak with understanding and power. With what is right in the ears of God. Don't waver or conform, becoming sugar. We have enough sugar coated lies today. You are to be salt while being understanding of others. Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

So if they say, "You act as though your holier than thou" tell them yep! I'm a Christian and I'm to be as such. It's not that we are "self righteous", it's that He has made us Righteous through Himself. Christians are made new through Him and are to live as such.

17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

What matters isn't the things you have, but how you get them, what you do with them and what actions you do yourself. A REAL Christian has no fear, because they live according to The Way shown to them through The Word. Rich or poor, sick or healthy, a Christian holds to their Faith in God. They walk according to that faith. In the end is what counts. Reward or punishment?

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

You CAN'T buy a REAL Christian.

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Nothing of this world that can save you. NOTHING! It doesn't mean you have to stay dead in your life. Repent and seek all The Word has for you.

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Christ was to come and die that we may be made alive. Why would you want to reject something so giving for your own selfishness.  Our time is fast running out. Yours or mine could be right NOW! Repent!

21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Through Christ, Through Christ Jesus Yahshua!!

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Well now how do you do that? In today's world, people would have you believe that love is agreeing. In today's world, it's saying Jesus loves you and then go on your marry way. TRUE Love for one another is spoken in TRUTH. God's TRUTH! No mixing with the way of the world and calling it good. The ONLY Way to have "purified your souls" is by The Word of God in "TRUTH". You Love someone? Speak The TRUTH in Love!

23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Better translated, "Born from above" with The Word the things you do in life will reflect it. What you put in, you will put out.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

What matters is what you do within yourself. It's the inward that lives on. Your soul!

25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Your flesh dies, no ifs, ands or buts. The Word lives forever, on to the next world age. [IF] you are of The Word, you will be there.
