1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
This of course is The Angel of The Lord.
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
Our Father has control of everything! From the sea and earth to the outer universe. He and He alone controls it ALL!
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
John heard something, we shouldn't. We are only given what we need to know. When we hear the sound of thunder, lighting has already hit. What happens on the 6th trump? Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
The Angel of The Lord †
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
The appearance of Christ Jesus will end the second age of time. The age of this flesh.
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
If you have been studying, there is no mystery to you. On the 7th trump, seal and bowl is poured, you know it is finished at that second. God has let us know everything we need to know. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The mystery spoken here is talking about a seed. Have you ever read Mark 4?
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
John is found worthy to take it. I pray I am and you are. Would you do it if He told you to?
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
Gods Word is sweet and when it hits home, we see what we did wrong, it's going to cause those that care to feel a bit sick at what they have done. That's when you repent in Christ name and feel much better about your life now and to come. The Word feeds you!
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
The Truth is always sweet! Those in our lives we feed it to will sometimes reject it. That makes our belly's hurt. We will get attacked because of the truth. Christians can handle whatever may come. We are not door mats nor are we poor me babes.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
Are you getting it? Do you see the things of God unfolding today, just the way He said it was to be? I see many running away, not to The Word. Sure they will say they are running to it, but they don't. They just listen to whatever anyone tells them. They open any book that they call the word, but is a re-write of junk before it. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
