Matthew 28

1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

This stone wasn't rolled back to let Christ out, it was so others could see in.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

The countenance of this angel sitting on the stone was bright.

4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

Seeing this Angel, the kenites guards fainted.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, Which was crucified.

She wasn't afraid, she knew what Christ said and what He meant. I believe she was just waiting to see that He had left.

6 He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

"He is risen"!

7 And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see Him: lo, I have told you.

Seeing that this angel is Christ these two women don't see Him as He was because He is in His Spiritual body. They go to let others know He will be in Galilee.

8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His disciples word.

I would say they were more excited than fearful. Remember, they're the ones that stuck around during the crucifixion when others ran off.

9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held Him by the feet, and worshipped Him.

"All hail" = "Good morning" to you and me. They could see passed their earthly eyes and see Christ in His new body. When we do that today, we see things much clearer.

10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell My brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see Me.

11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

They went to the "chief priest" and let him know about all they had seen. They told him about the angel and the body of Christ being gone.

12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

Hush money to these that hold the truth Christ had risen. That's the way of the worldly. It's all about the money instead of The Truth.

13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole Him away while we slept.

The kenite "chief priest" and elders wanted these guards to lie and they paid them to do it. We can see this in most churches today. The so called "pastors" take a great big salary to water down Gods Word and give you traditions of humans instead.

14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

In other words, "we will back you up in this lie."

15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

Because Jesus had told them to go to Galilee before He went to the Cross.

17 And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted.

Some just couldn't believe their eyes. Their flesh was getting in the way. Remember Thomas had to touch the scars of the spear wound.  John 20:24-28  24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.  25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe.  26 And after eight days again His disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  27 Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.  28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.

With this statement, you being a Christian, Christ is in you. Can you see it? He has given you power! Stop letting the worldly things overtake you. That's temptations to sickness. Where is your faith? Where is your power? It's time to stand and believe as the Christians you should be. Just do it!

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Upon repentance, they will be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Once your taught, you repent then want to be baptized. We want to be baptized because Christ was and as a Christian, we are Christ like. Getting baptized = submerged in water, doesn't save you.

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

When observing the things of Christ, you are doing them and are Christians. To be a Christian is to be Christ like.
