Romans 13
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
People love to use this verse to say we are to follow everything the government says for us to do, but God has given us common sense at birth, we shouldn't do things that God says is wrong. Examples: abortion and homosexuality.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
We may have an evil soul placed as a leader or "prince" but they're placed there for the purpose of God's will. Let things play out, because the plan is Gods. Look at today's political leaders. Isaiah 3:4-5 4 And I will give children[childish] to be their princes [leaders], and babes [leaders] shall rule over them. 5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Most leaders won't mess with you when you do what is right. We have some good leaders out there so don't ever worry. God is with us.
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
The laws of The USA were once written from The Word and we should follow those things of God. Do good and reward comes, do evil and reap it's outcome.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
For every action there's a reaction. If you break the laws you suffer the coincidences.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
Those that follow God as they lead should be looked at as a good leader.
7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
How does one show love? With The Truth of God. Always be there to give a word or hand when anyone is in need. Matthew 22:37-40 37 Jesus said unto him, Though shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto the it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not murder, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
God places people in our lives and we should do our best to show them what He shows us, love. †
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Very important you understand what time it is. It's time we all seek God's Word, that we aren't fooled by evil being called good and good called evil. That we ask Christ into our lives, giving us life now and forever. Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Without The Word, you don't know the difference.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
You could drop to the ground right now, question is are you ready? Are you ready to see God face to face and account for your life? If you haven't dropped you need to get ready for battle. Evil surrounds us all everyday and it's growing in intensity for a reason. The day that 6th trump sounds = satans arrival is coming and you had better have the armor on. Eph. 6:11-13 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Are you going to know the difference of The true Christ or the fake. Will you understand satans tricks? Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
It's very hard to keep our cool when we see evil spreading throughout the world. When it seems like everyone speaks lies, deceiving and being deceived, but as children of light, we must stay strong. We know what time it is and whats coming. Do good and let the chips fall.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Stay focused on Christ and those things He has given us. Get prepared and stay level headed. †
