Revelation 17
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
This "whore" is the so-called churches of today and the "waters" = people that participate in the false doctrines. This may be hard to hear for some. Remember, God is only pleased with two churches and it's not the name but what is being taught. The muslims are way off, but the catholic church and their offspring denominations in operation today are the leading whore. All you have to do is listen to what the new pope has to say about issues and [his] biblical interpretation. If you know The Word of God, you will see the evil clearly.
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
The world loves lies over The Truth. The churches have gone the way of the world. Do you know the difference between The two of God and the rest? I have talked to many "pastors" where I live and I couldn't find one that spoke The Truth of God's Word. No! Not one out of hundreds. A bunch of sugar coating worldly takers. Yes, they teach salvation, along with tithing, easter, and rapture. They make void The Word of God.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
When it's hard to find The Truth, it's become as a wilderness. Deception has grown to the point it's become the norm. "Scarlet colored beast" = religious system, This "woman" then is a "false religion" = whore. The "blasphemy" = lies against God's Truth. They have made up their own ways; changed God Word. Look how many versions of "The Bible" there are today. They're junk! Revelation 13:1, we were given the seven dominions, or continents which cover the entire earth, with it's ten rulers, or authoritative agencies. Today people are starving for Truth, but have a very hard time finding it. Amos 8:11 Behold the day come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: When satan comes, he brings "peace and prosperity" to everyone that buys into his system. It's of course a false peace and prosperity. 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they [the people of the earth living in their flesh bodies] shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
"Woman" = church system riding with the beast system. Wearing royal clothing a show of her power. "Gold and precious stones"= a show of priestly duties. Fakes of course! The "cup" is filled with "abominations"= idolatry. The cup in the communion is the wine, a representation of the blood of Christ, the purity of Christ's blood, and the sacrifice He gave for our sins. This "cup" = world system joined itself with the church, filled with heathen impurities. Filth, sodomy, abortion, etc.
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
"Mother Babylon" = leading the way to confusion and deception. The one world religious system.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
This religious system is "drunk" with the joy of its deception. "Admiration" = "shocked", "to wonder in disbelief". It's like when I have taught what God says about homos or rapture and people reject it for what the world would have them follow. That system which is part of the religious system today, loves it when the people chose it over God. I'm at a loss for words when it's shown and they reject it all the while calling themselves "Christians".
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
We had seen it's the ten agencies of power with the crowns of power, not individuals. Rev. 13:1-3 Were unlocking mystery's brothers and sisters in Christ.
8 The beast that thou sawest
was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into
perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not
written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold
the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
"Perdition" = "perish" and there
is one already judged to perish, that's satan! Hey rapture believers, ever read
2 Thess. 2? 2 Thess. 2:1-4 1 Now we beseech
you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering
together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the
day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that
is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple
of God, shewing himself that he is God. Are you deceived? If you believe
your going somewhere before satan is here claiming to be Christ, you are most
certainly deceived. You WILL follow the beast and his system.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
"Mountains" = seven nations where the world religion = "woman" are.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
Verse 8 helps us with this. There were ten, but here are seven different ones. These are the offices of satan. First "beast" of the garden = serpent through to the dragon. He comes for a "short space", 5 months! Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
The "eighth" is the fact he goes into perdition, he is to perish. He is the one over the seven we have gone through.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
"ten horns" are kings and exist at the same time. They're not the seven kings = roles of Satan. They only rule a short time. This would be the "hour of temptation" we have been warned of seven times. We are warned so that we won't be deceived by this beast in that last hour. We are given the armor and warnings as to not be tempted. Remember, Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. With The Truth you won't find satan tempting at all. The Truth is what keeps you, NOT a plane ride off the earth. Do you remember when they say the churches aren't mentioned after Ch. 3 of Rev.? We have proven them wrong! They lack the understanding to answer of the mystery.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
The world is unified in following satan. Every system from banks, Judicial, outreach organizations, education, military's to churches jump in bed with him. Every leader in government, every organization. Churches included! Remember only two types of churches hold to God and have found favor with Him while satan is here and only those with The Seal of God hold to The Truth. They know who he is and go about telling the world who they follow.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Those that hold to The Truth are with Him. When satan comes and the "Christians" follow him, these are not with Christ, but the anti-christ. Look at how people are so easily influenced today. They will jump abroad everything the majority follows. Whatever sounds good and easy. The world is primed for what's about to come. The REAL Christians should feel blessed to see these things coming to pass and feel the power of The Truth and the ability to stand when satan comes.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
satan and his "church / political system" sits with the population of the earth believing they are in control and everything is wonderful. All but those that hold to The Truth = having the seal of God.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
satans world agencies will still hate their own religions. Of course they're going to hate The Ones speaking The Truth most of all. They'll send the righteous to death = satan and his government. Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. = Sent to satan. They will make many "naked" = take away the ability to do those righteous acts that cover our body's in eternity.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Our Father has things to do and nothing is going to stop Him. We live in a very exciting time, [IF] you know what's happening and are ready with The Truth.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
Uniting of Governments and religions bringing each other in same mind, to confuse and control. One world system = great city.
