2 Corinthians 11

  

1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.

Paul's going to tells us about the fakes within the churches. These false pastors that have mislead and divided. The twisting of Truth and the creation of denominations, All bad!

2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

We are taught to be totally committed to Christ Jesus, we are His bride. The world is whoring after satan and many Christians have been fooled into following them. Paul's afraid for those that don't listen to Truth or won't study.

3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Had nothing to do with an apple! satan, with the action of a serpent, seduced both Eve and Adam. This is how we ended up with the Kenites. "Kenites" # 7014; "Qayin, kah'-yin; same as #7013, (with a play on the affinity to 7069,) Kajin, the name of the first child, an Oriental tribe:- Cain, Kenite (s)." There is a great deception taking place today within the world, but sadly more so within the churches. People are seduced by the littlest things satan lays out. They go for anything without a second thought. The worlds primed for the appearance of satan, claiming he is Christ.

4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Could not tell you how many seducing spirits, false teachers with doctrines contrary to The Word of God are out there. Turn your TV on, I'm sure you'll see them. Would you know them if you heard them? Do you study The Word? If so you will see right through them. You'll understand their god isn't ours. Most all of them teach more ways than The Way. 2 Timothy 4:2-4  2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.  3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

Paul was well educated in the Hebrew tongue under Gamaliel, knew the law and the prophets, spoke street Greek = colloquial Greek, the most learned teacher in His day, not one person more familiar with The Word of God at the time than Paul.

6 But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

Paul spoke street Greek and many found it less attractive than other languages. I have a southern draw and many may consider it to sound uneducated. Both have nothing to do with knowledge or wisdom. Liking the way it sounds or not, The Truth is spoken Chapter by Chapter and verse for verse.

7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Paul hasn't asked for a salary, he teaches The Word without begging.

8 I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

Paul didn't take money and he wants the other Pastors to know it. They can't hold anything on him. He was in it to serve The LORD and spread his Love of The Word to the world.

9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

Paul didn't ask for a thing, nor would he. He doesn't want anyone to say he's in it for the money.

10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

Paul is going to teach in Achaia, just like he has in Corinth, just like he has in Macedonia, just like he has everywhere he has taught The Word of God. Chargeable to no man, giving his knowledge to them freely. For the love of them and The Lord.

11 Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.

Paul's saying, "Is it that I don't love you, I don't take your money?" God knows he loves them all. That's why he does it the way he does.

12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

The false teachers can't say "he does it for the money". Paul has taken that away from them. Without the ammo, they can't fire at him. Without the means for a fight, it should have caused them to see the importance and love of The Word, not of the money.

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

Today's pastors are no different. There are many fakes out there. God never called them, they're demonic spirits. They fool themselves while fooling others.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Transformed Greek word # 3345 Metaschematizo, met-ask-ay-met-id-zo; from #3326, a derivative of #4976; to transfigure or disguise; fig. to apply (by accommodation): -transfer, or transform (self). satan isn't an angel of light but is coming disguised as an angel of light. The false pastors want you to believe you have nothing to worry about because you'll be "raptured" out of here. The only ones that have nothing to worry about are those who see this angel that's disguised himself for what he really is. Have you not read the order of events to come. 2 Thess. 2:1-4  1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by [the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ], and by our gathering together unto him,  Context is The Lord coming. 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Don't let the other letter [1 Thess. 4] shake you up, trouble your mind.  3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, [the son of perdition;] perdition = to perish. Only one has already been sentenced to die and that's satan. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Christ doesn't come until after satan does. This isn't hard, so don't make it hard. 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.  Paul wrote 2 Thessalonians and it's to warn all churches of the false teachings from his first letter. Christ doesn't return until 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 takes place. If you apply this to The books of Matthew, Mark and Luke, it lines up with the events that must take place. The ones taken from the field are taken alright. Their taken in by the fake and left where they were told to stay.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

These "ministers of righteousness" have disguised themselves just like satan will upon his arrival. Without YOU getting into The Word yourself, you will be deceived by them all. Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. Look around! Today people just want to call themselves winners and they'll join any person or movement that gets the attention, Bandwagon jumpers. 1 Cor. 6:9-11  9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.  11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

16 I say again, let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

They listen to the foolishness from other people, so now they can listen to what Paul says for a bit.

17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

He's letting them know he can speak just like the fools they listen to. "Fools" Greek word # 878; "aphron, af'-rone'; mindless, i.e. stupid, (by implication) ignorant, (specifically) egotistic, (practically) rash or unbelieving." Stupidity are those who know better, but do it anyway, while ignorance is doing, not knowing any better. They love to listen to the fakes, some knowing better, others not. So they should give the same chance to Paul and listen to him for awhile.

18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

You want to see some human dressed in fine robes, standing on a stage, hands in the air and held out, wanting to be called "Pastor or Reverend". Giving you a few verses a week. You believe this is a sign of a real Pastor? Remember who we are talking about now. People have been corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ and the deceptions taking place today. The many seducing spirits, false teachers with doctrines contrary to The Word of God. Thing is, many don't know their being fooled because they don't give time to God's Word in studying themselves.

19 For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.

Today, we have more seeking the fakes than the true because they want to be a part of what the others see as winners. If you call yourself a Christian, you're supposed to be wise, yet you fall for whatever comes. You're suppose to check everything out. You shouldn't take my word or anyone's word for anything until you study it yourself. If you drop your guard, anything can creep in.

20 For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

You don't seem to mind when these fake pastors put you in bondage with their lies, traditions and false doctrines. If their promising you something, it should be your first warning. God gives promises of life, humans promising something if you give them something is a fake. You're not going to be blessed if you do what any human says. You'll be blessed ONLY by doing what God says. I can't save anyone, I can't heal anyone. Only Christ saves and only God can heal. It's in Christ Jesus Yahsha's blood and name can we be saved and healed. People love a good show these days and better the show, the more they believe it's a church of God. That's a false church!

21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

If you love the lies the foolish "pastors" speak, you're going to love the dude that's about to show up. This of course is satan. Those that follow the fakes will jump right in bed with the deceptions coming. We are to stay virgins! 22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

They say they're Hebrew, Israeli and of the bloodline of Abraham and so is Paul. These are some similarity's, but....

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

The fakes say many things, but when it comes down to where the rubber meets the road, our actions speak louder than anything else when we say we're something or not. Many call themselves "pastors" yet never really get down to preaching The Word. They have a big building and long robe, a book opened on stage. People love what they see and even love that feel good message flowing out of their "pastors" mouth. Nothing real about it! It's a show they eat up. Paul truly suffered for the sake of Christ Jesus. Paul never conformed to the world as to keep numbers listening to him.

24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

Paul preached The Word, giving The Truth to whomever he came upon. For doing that, five separate times he received 39 stripes for preaching the gospel. Paul went through many things to bring others The Word, yet many refused anything he said, whiling to listen to foolishness instead.

25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

Paul went through many tribulations in order to bring The Word of God, yet fake "Christians" would rather listen to fake "pastors". It's hard to teach those that won't listen. Ever tried to tell someone about that the true baptism is The blood of Christ or the events that take place before The True Christ return? Ever tried telling a "pastor" that denominations create divisions? Then you know what Paul is dealing with. He went through these things and much more in order to bring them and us The Word of God in Truth.

27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

All those tribulations that came on his flesh didn't have control of him. He was focused on Christ. He concentrated on that inner human, his soul. It didn't matter what happened to his flesh. He didn't have a give up or give in attitude but one of a can do child of God. His love for Christ and of The Truth, shows his care for the church.

29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

When the fakes have troubles lit up on them, they'll run. Paul stays and fights the good fight, spiritually speaking of course. He's a can do Christian

30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

If they want him to brag, he'll only give them those things that gave him pain while he suffered for them.

31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

God knows he speaks nothing but The Truth in all things he has told them.

32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

Paul was in Damascus during the time of Aretas the king, the father in law of Herod Antipas, he kept guards there to apprehend Paul. Garrison= φρουρέω phrouréō, froo-reh'-o; from a compound of G4253 and G3708; to be a watcher in advance, i.e. to mount guard as a sentinel (post spies at gates); figuratively, to hem in, protect:—keep (with a garrison).

33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

No matter what's around you, Christ will see you through. In Him is Truth and it always prevails against evil. When things look like it's the end, our Father sets a path before us. The Glory be to God   Amen
