Matthew 13
1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto Him, so that He went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
The mysteries that have existed since the beginning of the world is about to be explained to them. Follow closely and lets pray for understanding.
3 And He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
Gardening! A person carries a seed bag, walks the field, throwing seed as they walk. Planting seeds brings fruit at harvest time.
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
"Way side" = path. Paths are compacted soil and things have a very hard time rooting on them. Ever tried showing someone what God says about something that has already made their minds up?
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
The seed that lands on rock might open up, but won't grow without nourishment or depth of the soil.
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
Without rooting yourself in The Word, you will fall away at any wind of doctrine or deceit. We must water ourselves with the living water, The Word of God daily or we will dry up and became part of the world that is withering away each day they run from Truth. John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and Who it is That saith to thee, Give Me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
These thorns are evil people. They're not going to allow God's Word to penetrate their minds as to take root. They reject anything of God. But they sure do love the ways of the world.
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
These seeds took hold and bore fruit. They understood what is good and evil. They will grow in understanding and power in their actions.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Do you understand this parable so far? I know some of you who follow these studies daily, grasp the understanding and importance of His Words.
10 And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
You will never know, until you pick up His Word and open it up.
12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
If you have The Truth, you had better share it with someone else, or He will take it from you. You will fall back into the world, back to deception.
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Our Father gives us the knowledge, but when we put our flesh into His Word, we will never understand. Erase your mind of the world and pray for understanding.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
Many keep their eyes shut, refusing to open them. Even some that call themselves Christians just don't want to hear The Truth. Isaiah 6:9-10 9 And He said, Go, and tell this People, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this People fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Many wanted to see those healings and teachings of Christ in person.
18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Don't ever take anyone's word for anything. Do your homework. This is why the world is the way it is. People will follow satan because of looks and sounds.
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
These like what they hear, just don't apply it fully into their minds or life.
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
The Word wasn't accepted to root in their mind. If they would have accepted and followed, they wouldn't fall when things get a little rough.
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
Those who focus on the cares of this world are robbed by their own thinking. This person won't grow in the Scripture.
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
This is the explanation of the parable. God has given us His Word and this person has accepted it. They do the work that needs to be done with it. They bless others †
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
The seed is in its final form is a person and the field is the world. We will get there soon, but posting in comments. "Seed" = "Sperma" Greek dictionary # 4690; "Sperma; from 4687, something sown, i.e. seed, the male "sperm", the offspring." Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Apply this to Genesis and the garden and your eyes will be opened to something many refuse to even fathom.
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
A humans enemy is satan and he planted some of his own within the field. "Tares" Greek = "zizanion" It is a plant known today as "zewan". When Zewan is growing takes on the appearance of wheat, but when it is full grown the ears are long, and the grains are almost black. To make the wheat grain fit for grinding, each grain of zewan must be removed, or the bread is bitter and poisonous.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
You can tell the difference between the wheat and the zewan [tares] by their actions. Even a Kenite can go to heaven if they repent in Christ name and mean it.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
In other words, "The servant said unto God, did you not sow Adam in the field, then for whence came these Kenites?"
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
The servants = Christians ask Christ Jesus, "Should we go and gather them up?" No!
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Our Father will take care of these kenites. If we try to kill them, we run the risk of taking out Christians. Remember "wheat" is symbolic of God's children. These Kenites have blended in with Christians in our generation, and it's impossible to tell the difference, without seeing into their hearts. God is telling us that at the end of this earth age, the coming of Jesus Christ, 7th trump that sifting will take place.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him That sat on the cloud, Thrust in Thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for Thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe [overripe]. It is reward time on the earth, and on this day you will get exactly what is coming to you. The day is the "day of the Lord", at the seventh trumpet, and Jesus Christ is here with his saints and angels. Revelation 14:16 And He That sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. This is the time that the wheat and the tares are separated.
31 Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
The smallest seed and it grows the greatest for its size, 15' high.
33 Another parable spake He unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
The Word = seed in this case will grow and The kingdom of God is the leaven that makes the loaf rise, which becomes the completed state in the end.
34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake He not unto them:
35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Christ Jesus quoting Psalm 78:2, from the prophet David, I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
The disciples couldn't wait to have the parables explained to them.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
"The Son of man" = "God in flesh", God sowed the good seed. The parable of the seed before was a grain of wheat, which represented a different seed, "sperma", the seed of man; a child would come. Remember verse 24?
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Christ Jesus is telling us what happened in the Garden of Eden. One of these seeds is the outcome between the sexual union of a man Adam and woman Eve. The other is that "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" also known as "the serpent" swaying Eve into a sexual union creating Cain from which the "tares" the children of satan would come from. satans attempt was to stop the pure line in which Christ Jesus would come. Strong's Hebrew dictionary # 7014, The Kenite is identified as the son of the first child, Cain. In # 7017, the Kenites are identified as members of the tribe from Cain. The Kenites then are the fruit, or produce of satan on earth = "The field". These two seeds are the offspring of satan, and the offspring of God through Adam.
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
We of course know the world doesn't end, but this age of flesh does. His children the kenites and those that follow him, will be separated from Gods children. Ephesians 3:21 Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. There are three world ages and we are in the second right now. The third is about to take place. The beginning of which happens on the 7th trump, also known as The Trump of God. 1Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: The dead rising first is because they have already risen. When you die, you're there. 1 Thess. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Those children are done away with, up in smoke. Heaven comes here and for it to be heaven, evil will be gone forever. Some sugar coated people would say "what kind of God would do such a thing" well, that would be God of all He created and He has given everyone a chance, a fare chance! If you want to keep evil forever, you miss the point of this life in the flesh. Revelation 20:11-15 11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him That sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
41 The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Hope you can see these are in His kingdom and this is because they have been changed at that 7th trump as we read in 1 Cor. 15:52, changed into that incorruptible body and in His kingdom because He is HERE. These will be gathered, at the end of the Millennium kingdom, and "cast into the lake of fire".
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
This "wailing and gnashing of teeth" starts right before the millennium = 1000 years of teaching. If you just woke up to the fact you be following satan, you're going to feel like "wailing and gnashing of teeth". These woke up to the fact they followed the anti christ = instead of Christ when the 7th trump sounds and they see The Truth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
The 7th Trump is when The King and His kingdom arrives, and NOT UNTIL THEN.
44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
Christ Jesus bought the field with His blood. He has given us all the opportunity to be with Him. We can be His treasure if we choose Him.
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Christ gave Himself, paying the price that we can have life everlasting.
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
Christ has thrown the net into the waters of every nation. Some just don't want Him and do anything they can to escape His love.
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
The net is pulled in of all those nations and those that are bad will be thrown away.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
Remember the world is without end, but this flesh age = second age will end. The angels will gather and separate the catch.
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
If you hate this world because of the evil you see happening, you'll understand why those that chose evil can have no place in heaven.
51 Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
52 Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
"Instructed" = "disciplined" and once you repent and follow the things of Christ, you become a disciple of Christ. His Word is our treasure.
53 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, He departed thence.
Christ didn't hang around to debate things. He laid it out and moved on.
54 And when He was come into His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
They couldn't believe their eyes, because of who this boy they had known grew to be. This isn't a good thing!
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not His mother called Mary? and His brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57 And they were offended in Him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in His own country, and in His own house.
Ever tried teaching The Truth to those in your family, or those that know your past? They reject you, but will listen to someone they have never met before.
58 And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
He didn't waste His time with those He grew up with. They rejected Him right off and didn't care to know.
