2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
This has come true expeditiously today. False teaching are more abundant than The Truth in this world today. This is why it's our responsibility to seek The Truth ourselves. I wouldn't have anyone take my word for anything. It's God's Word that counts, not humans. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
"Pernicious ways" Greek, 684= destruction. Those that teach The Truth will be attacked by the fakes. The fakes will do things in "pernicious ways". Also see #622 in the Greek, a ruin or loss of physical, spiritual, or eternal; damnable, a lie, perdition, pernicious ways, waste.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
The fakes will twist The Word into something it's not, taking advantage of the fact you didn't know and sending you in the wrong direction.
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
The angels that followed satan are going to be punished and if you believe it, you had better believe if you follow him you will be
punished also. They are coming back to this earth age again and they
are going to do the same things they did before. In Gen. 6 we know they came to
take to them wives of human beings. Even though they can't take the genealogy
of Christ away, also know as The Key of David. They are still going to repeat
their actions. Gen. 6:1-4 1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on
the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the [sons of God] saw the [daughters] of
[men] that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always
strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred
and twenty years. 4 There were [giants] in the earth in those days;
and also after that, when the [sons of God] came in unto the
[daughters] of [men], and they bare children to them, the same became mighty
men which were of old, men of renown. We can also read of this event in Jude.
We can see where they left their own habitation = heaven. Ref. Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first
estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains
under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
"Ungodly" = created not by God's naturally. It was the reason He sent the flood.
6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
You go against the things God made naturally and He will destroy it and you. Homos take heed! God IS against the things you do. He already showed us, yet so many refuse what is Godly for what is ungodly. A REAL Christian will NOT accept their actions as ok, but the worldly will. Take it how you will, I don't care! I only care what my Father thinks.
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
Lot could see the evil within the city's. He could judge righteously and would hold to God, without pleasing others fleshly homo desires. People call themselves "Christians" and even "pastors" yet refuse to stand against the forms of evil. If the world doesn't hate the things you stand for, you're on the wrong side of things and the wrong side of God.
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
It's a battle in these flesh body's when everything around you is becoming evil. It's being called good, but those that hold to The Truth overcome. There is ONLY one way to hold on in this evil world. There is ONLY one way to not be fooled into the things they say is ok in the flesh. That Way is The Word. Stay in it EVERYDAY.
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
The Lord always sends a way out. He told Noe to build a boat, Lot to leave Sodom and has given us Himself and His Word to show us The Way to go.
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
This is evil despising Freedom. They want to control every aspect of your life that you leave Truth and follow their evil ways. Look around you today! Now Christians know and understand what must take place. We understand evil must seek everything of this world as to bring an end to this age. We know satan is the prince of the air. The things we see today brings an end to the age of flesh. It's a very exciting time when you know what's going on.
11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
Don't let the things of evil get you down, God is going to sort it all out in the end. God knows their evil and is handling things His way. Upon judgment day things will be so different. Heaven is called such because those that chose evil and the world won't be there.
12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
We ALL have free will. Choose evil and suffer the consequences of it. Do good and reap reward. It's that simple! Know this though, Christ is THE ONLY WAY to what is good and what is Right.
13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
From the angels to humans, they come like sheep but want to fool you and take you with them into their evil. REAL Christians are smarter than that!
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Keep an eye out for them. Keep God in your heart and you won't be fooled when they come knocking.
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Christ Jesus is THE ONLY WAY that brings life. He shows us what's right. ALL the other ways WILL bring death. ALL OF THEM including nothing. So many people will check their facebook, yet even more wont check God's Word. So many sit in a "church" yet don't have time for God the rest of the week. The worldly seem to find time for everything that amounts to nothing, yet no time for EVERYTHING that could bring a lot to their lives.
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
When God uses an animal to reach someone, you know you have fallen far. God uses many ways to correct us. Eyes to see and ears to hear.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
People with a show. They have the right stuff on but are empty of Christ. Looks like a well for water, but is dry.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
"Pastors" have very little of God's Words and so much of their own. If you hear more of humans in your church than of God's you're in the wrong house.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
These teach you must go through some religious act to be saved. They themselves lack the knowledge of The Word and place bondage on others.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
Those that chose Christ and believed upon Him, then went the way of the world and false teachings, its better to not have believed at all. Repent! Get back on The Path.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Many have tasted The Love of God and still went back to the vomit of the world. Many see His love yet chose the empty well. Just can't let go. Have at it! God doesn't force love as it is something given and taken freely. If you want to live for today and forget tomorrow, that's your choice. That's God giving you the opportunity to choose. Again! Heaven is called such because there is no evil in it.
